This set of guidelines measures whether or not students have applied in the field what they learned from the classroom. Students who are planning to continue their education at BTC should enroll for a summer ministry which will earn them a three-unit credit.
First Year
Each first year student will work voluntarily in his/her local church for at least six (6) hours for 45 days during summer. That required number of hours excludes personal devotions, personal work, personal study and worship service. He/She student will be under the supervision of the church pastor and/or his representative. Student’s weekly ministry report and supervisor’s report with recommendation letter and grade should be submitted upon enrollment for the new semester at BTC.
Second Year
Each second-year student will work in a voluntary cross-cultural ministryfor at least six (6) hours for 45 days during summer. That required number of hours excludes personal devotions, personal work, personal study and worship service. He/She will be under the supervision of the church pastor and/or his representative. Student’s weekly ministry report and supervisor’s report with recommendation letter and grade should be submitted upon enrollment for the new semester at BTC.
Third Year
Each third-year student will work voluntarilyeither in his/her home church or in whatever ministry exposure he/she deemed suitable to his/her spiritual gift for at least six (6) hours for 45 days during summer. That required number of hours excludes personal devotions, personal work, personal study and worship service. He/She student will be under the supervision of the church pastor and/or his representative. Student’s weekly ministry report and supervisor’s report with recommendation letter and grade should be submitted upon enrollment for the new semester at BTC.
After completion of all regular Field Education requirements, the student may be qualified to enroll for his fourth year of study at BTC.
